Welcome to the second major installment of the A2 Proficiency Audit. While Part 1 focused on the logistics of living and home life, this 100-question assessment dives into Social Connectivity and Dynamic Motion. This is where we test if you can navigate the modern world—from troubleshooting a laptop to explaining exactly how you plan to travel across Ukraine.
This audit is designed to stress-test your grasp of intermediate Ukrainian logic across three high-impact domains:
💻 The Digital Life: Can you talk about technology in Ukrainian? We audit your tech vocabulary—from "installing an app" (встановити) and "subscribing" (підписатися) to the frustration of a "frozen screen" (зависати).
🏃 The Logic of Motion: Ukrainian verbs of motion are a sophisticated system. We test your ability to choose between Unidirectional (specific trips) and Multidirectional (habitual actions) verbs. Do you walk (йти) or do you wander (ходити)? We’ll find out.
🤝 The Dative & Accusative Challenge: These two cases are the engines of social interaction. We check if you can correctly identify recipients of gifts/calls (Dative) and the direct objects of your actions (Accusative), including the tricky "animate masculine" rules.
Native Phrases & Idioms: We move past literal translations. You’ll learn how to say you’re "surfing the web" or that someone "helped you out" (виручив) like a native speaker would.
Directional Prepositions: We audit the subtle difference between going "to" a person (до + Genitive) versus going "to" a place (в/на + Accusative).
Gratitude & Social Etiquette: Master the formalities of expressing thanks and congratulations, ensuring your social interactions are both grammatically correct and culturally appropriate.
Ready to master the verbs of motion and the language of the digital age? Let’s begin.
