Ask-Ukie provides Ukrainian learning materials and information about one-to-one Ukrainian lessons.

Information we collect

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website and to improve our learning materials. Analytics may collect information such as:

• pages viewed and links clicked;

• scrolling and general engagement with pages;

• the website or service that referred you;

• browser, device type and approximate geographic area; and

• lesson-booking button clicks.

We do not use Google Analytics to collect names, email addresses or other information that directly identifies visitors. Google Signals and Google Analytics user-provided-data collection are disabled. We do not currently use Analytics data for advertising or remarketing.

Cookies and consent

Ask-Ukie is hosted on Google Sites. Google Sites may use cookies to provide the website and, where Google Analytics is enabled, to measure traffic. Visitors in locations where consent is required are shown Google’s cookie notice and can accept or reject non-essential cookies.

You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Rejecting or blocking Analytics cookies will not prevent you from using Ask-Ukie’s learning materials, although it may make our visitor statistics less complete.

How we use the information

We use aggregated website statistics to:

• understand which Ukrainian learning resources are useful;

• improve navigation and page content;

• identify technical or usability problems; and

• measure interest in lesson-booking links.

Data retention

User-level and event-level data in Google Analytics is retained for 14 months. Aggregated reporting may remain available for longer.

External services

Ask-Ukie includes links to or embedded content from services such as Google, YouTube, Instagram and Preply. When you follow an external link or interact with embedded content, that provider’s privacy and cookie policies apply. Lesson enquiries and bookings completed on Preply are handled by Preply rather than Ask-Ukie.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to personal data, including the right to ask about, correct or delete information. For privacy questions, contact us through the Ask-Ukie Contact us page.

This notice describes Ask-Ukie’s current website analytics configuration and should be reviewed whenever tracking, advertising or contact-form features change.
